Registration is open for group dance classes and private lessons with Alexandr “Sasha” Kirsanov. 

Low Dance (skaters must have passed at least 1 Preliminary dance test through working on Pre-Silver dance)

Sunday, October 15 @ 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM – Pettit

Fee*: $15/skater (minimum 10 skaters)

 

High Dance (skaters must have passed all Pre-Silver dances or higher)

Sunday, October 15 @ 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM – Pettit

Fee*: $45/skater (minimum 7 skaters, maximum 10 skaters)

*Fees are slightly higher for associate WFSC members and non-members.

Private lessons

Sasha’s rate is $96/hour; lessons are available in increments of 15 minutes. In addition to ice dance, skaters can schedule lessons to work on choreography, MIF, power/stroking, etc. WFSC will charge a fee to cover ice time and a portion of Sasha’s travel/lodging costs. Private lessons are open to members and non-members.

2017-18 Learn to Skate

The schedule for the 2017-18 LTS classes at Naga-Waukee has been released. 

Location: NAGA-WAUKEE Ice Arena

Our classes will offer something for everyone—beginning with the first steps on the ice to the mastery of advanced techniques! (All 7 week Sessions)

Session 1 – September 11 thru 
Session 2 – October 30th thru December 18th – Registration Form

  • Registration for session two will need to be printed and submitted before the session starts.  We are working on a new registration process and will have it up and running for the next session.  

Session 3 – January 8th thru February 19th
Session 4 – February 26th thru April 9th
Session 5 – April 16th thru May 21st

6:15-6:45pm Snow Plow Sam/Basic 1-2/Hockey/Specialty
(SPS 3-5 yrs and Basic 1 6 and up)
(Hockey Kids under 6 start in SPS)
6:45-7:15pm Basic 3-6/Adults/Specialty
7:15-7:45pm Free skate 1-6/Specialty

Class Price is $105.00 for each class

Plus $16 to belong to US Figure Skating(only paid once a year)
*Specialty classes catering to the skaters needs and levels in jumps, spins, moves, and power for freestyle skaters (Sign up for 3 classes and ONLY pay for TWO!)

All Skate Milwaukee seminars, with the exception of the “Intro to Judging” seminar, are free for registered competitors of Skate Milwaukee.  No registration is needed.

Red White and Blades

Plans are under way for our 42nd annual ice show, Red, White and Blades.  Coaches will soon be selecting their music and designing their routines.
 
The LTS show number is always a "hit" at the show.  Skaters who have not tested Moves In The Field through March 26 are eligible to be in the LTS number.  You do not need to be a WFSC member to skate in the LTS show number.
Show dates and times are:
 
Friday May 19 at 7:00pm
 
Saturday, May 20 at 2:00 and 7:00pm
 
 
Rehearsal Dates

Technical - Wednesday, May 17th, 6:00 pm (tentative)

Dress - Thursday, May 18th, 6:00pm (tentative)

Practice Dates:

The final practice schedule is not completed. There will be no practices from April 14th-April 22nd. There will also be no practice on Mother's Day, May 14th. After April 22nd practices will be in full swing. There may be a few practices the week of April 10th. That will depend on the number of skaters and the number of routines in the show.
