14th Annual Skate Milwaukee Figure Skating Competition

July 11-15, 2018.

Congratulations to past Skate Milwaukee competitors:  Bradie Tennell, Alexa Scimeca-Knierim, and Chris Knierim,on qualifying for the 2018 Olympic Games!

The Wisconsin Figure Skating Club will bring high level figure skaters back to Milwaukee for the 14th Annual Skate Milwaukee Figure Skating Competition to be held July 11-15, 2018.  This premier USFSA sanctioned event takes place at the Kern Center on the campus of the Milwaukee School of Engineering in downtown Milwaukee.

 

Skate Milwaukee has gained national recognition and respect among skaters and coaches across the country.  2018 Winter Olympic qualifiers Bradie Tennell, Alexa Scimeca-Knierim and Chris Knierim and 2014 Winter Olympic competitors Gracie Gold and Jason Brown have all competed at Skate Milwaukee in recent years.

2018 US Nationals competitors who have competed at Skate Milwaukee include:

Senior Men:  Max Aaron, Jordan Moeller, Ben Jalovick, and Tomoki Hiwatashi

Senior Ladies:  Ashley Cain, Emily Chan, Hannah Miller, and Vivian Le

Senior Pairs:  Ernie Stevens and Caitlin Fields, Haven Denney and Brandon Frazier

 

At Skate Milwaukee, officials from the 2014 and 2018 Olympics will gather along with other US National judges to evaluate and critique skaters who come to present their brand new programs under the new rules of the season.

Chief referee is WFSC member and past Olympic and World official Gale Tanger.

 

Each year special seminars are offered free to registrants to enhance their athletic development.

This year we have partnered with historic Milwaukee landmark The Pfister Hotel to offer blocks of rooms to our competitors at a greatly reduced price for this extraordinary location.
