Do you want to get the most out of skating? Mark your calendars for June 9-11. Kelley Adair, 10-year president of the Professional Skater’s Association, 15-year dance academy director, and co-author of Moves in the Field, will be here at the Pettit Center. WFSC is hosting this world-class seminar at cost as a benefit of membership in our club. There will be both group and private sessions offered. Save the date.

Coaches – 8-9:30 Turn Technique and General Methodology
Coaches/Skaters (Juv. and below) – 9:30-10:45 Skating skills and turn technique
Coaches/Skaters (Int. and above) – 11:00-12:15 Skating skills and turn technique
12:15-1:00 Lunch
Coaches/Skaters – 1:00-2:15 Dance (dancers could easily join groups above and use this time for more synchro)
Coaches/Skaters – 2:15-3:30 Synchro Skating Skills
Coaches/Skaters (off-ice) – 3:45-5:00 MIF Pattern Issues – Draw Class (Off ice)
Sunday
Coaches 8:00 -10:00 – MIF Errors and Exercises
Coaches/Skaters (Juv. and below) – 10:00-11:15 MIF Connect your Concepts (how MIF is integrated in to other disciplines)
Coaches/Skaters (Int. and above) – 11:15-12:30 MIF Connect your Concepts (how MIF is integrated in to other disciplines)
12:30- 1:00 Lunch
Coaches/Skaters – 1:00-2:15 Synchronized footwork and drills
Coaches/Skaters – 2:15-3:30 Dance footwork
