This clinic is focused on dance skills for ALL dancers and synchro skaters. Faculty consists of national-level officials and Olympic choreographer including:
National Dance Judge for 26 years, Southwest Regional chair for dance on the judges sub-committee, 2019 US Championships Dance referee, and co-chair for the annual solo dance camp in Dallas, Texas
Top 5 female dancer of the Fox hit TV show “So You Think You Can Dance?”, movement and dance coach for Olympic skaters including gold medalists Charlie White and Meryl Davis, over 15 years of training at Utah’s famed “Dance Club” of Orem, and performed with artists such as Arianna Grande and Fifth Harmony.

Music Handling – for Solo Dance Series competitors ONLY:
Music must be uploaded to Entryeeze upon registration
How you register in Entryeeze depends on what music you will be uploading.
- Register in the Combined Event Dances to upload your FD or RD
- Register in the Pattern Dance Only to upload one PD music selection
Standard pattern dance music will be available at the event.
What to Expect:
On-ice classes such as – edge, twizzles, turns, and movement. Pattern dance featured step/key points.
Off-ice classes such as – ballroom dance, performance/presentation, GOE’s and components, rules update, nutrition/sports science
One-on-one: Each solo dance series competitor will have a one-on-one session with a Judge and Technical Controller/Specialist during which the skater can show the officials their Patters/Free/Rythm Dance or parts thereof (with or without music) and receive feedback.
*Option* for a private lesson with Randi Strong at additional cost to the skater and to be arranged for Sunday by Randi.
What to Bring:
Pack your skates, warm clothes (Pettit temperature averages 50 degrees), comfortable shoes for off-ice classes(ballroom among other awesome activities), water bottle and snacks. A delicious lunch will be provided Saturday. No costumes – this is a working seminar!
Parents are welcome to observe from the stands while their skater is on the ice

No unregistered skaters in the stands
Parents MAY NOT record video during the camp other than their own dancer during one-on-one
No refunds, not even medical after the deadline
