    4:15 PM-5:45 PM
    2020/10/29
    Pettit
    500 South 84th Street Milwaukee, WI 53214

Effective October 1, 2020 the rates for club ice will increase to $6.75 per 30-minute session to contract via the Pettit website and to $8 per 30-minute session to buy-on the day of the sessions. If you plan to contract club ice, you will need to select the green box labeled “Regular Price: $6.75” under the heading “WFSC CONTRACT ICE”.

ALSO, please be aware that beginning the week of October 5th Pettit will begin accepting buy-on purchases for their schedule of Figure Ice. According to their website they will only accept a check as the form of payment. NO cash or credit card. ADDITIONALLY, they have changed the policy for purchasing contract ice to the following:

“online contract ice closes at 1:00pm CT the FRIDAY before the week you are buying. For example, if you are buying ice for the week of October 5th, you must have it purchased by October 2 at 1:00pm.”

If you have not skated at the Pettit since it’s re-opening, please go the Pettit website and click the waiver link found in the Figure Skating section. Print, fill out and sign the waiver. Then have your skater give it to the Pettit staff who will be greeting them at the door.

The Pettit will be doing a temperature check and a mask must be worn while in the building. Please ask your skater to wear their mask as much as possible while on the ice and to follow all the directions for entering and leaving the ice, as well as, social distance markings on the benches. The Pettit is relying on its user groups to follow the City of Milwaukee COVID mandates in order to remain open.

Happy Summer to all of our Learn To Skate families!!

Though the weather is getting warmer and the rinks are getting colder, COVID-19 has really put a damper on our summer LTS plans. As a club, the safety of our skaters and families is our main concern. Rinks are just starting to open, and protocols are being put in place to make it a safe environment, but as you know, Learn To Skate involves group lessons and sometimes help from the coach in getting around the ice. According to United States Figure Skating, these actions put people at risk (it is hard to help someone up from 6 feet away!).

However…there is a bright future…and it starts in September!

We plan to restart our Monday night lessons in the Fall. Watch for information in mid-August.

We miss you and hope to see you soon.

Any questions about the LTS, please contact Craig at lts.wfsc@gmail.com.

We have an opportunity you will want to take advantage of.
